Assignment (3)Types of singers in Taiwan(2nd edition)

Music is a slower development in Taiwan than that in the western country. In Taiwan, We are less to (Chinese English, how about using "seldom") divide the styles of singers as the western country does, for example, rhythm and blues (R&B), rock, heavy metal, soul, hip hop, Latin American music. However, we also can (can also) observe the different types of singers along the times.

The beginnings of singers in Taiwan can be found (structure) in the 1960’s. By the 1960’s and early 1970’s, the well-know singers like Fong Fei-fei (Do you mean "One of the most representative singers in 6o's and 70's is Fong Fei-fei"?). She usually sung slow love songs, mainly sung in Mandarin. Theresa Teng was also a popular singer in Taiwan and China(which time period?). At about the same time, Jiang Hwei really took off, and mainly sung in Taiwanese. In the late 1970’s, campus singers also become more popular. They mainly were (were mainly) popular with (among) students and they were usually picking up guitars and writing (please use past tense) their own songs so that many students mimicked them singing with guitars. The lyrics express their feelings of deep emotion. the popular singer like Luo Ta-you and Lin Lung-hsuan (incomplelte sentence).

Taiwan’s record companies were getting rich by the early 1980’s, and they can (past tense) mould singers into pop stars. Furthermore, KTV’s development also can help them become famous with people rapidly (I don't quite get the idea). They usually focus on (sing) love songs. Many of (delete) the singers of the (this) period were (include) Ching-fang, Michelle Pan, Chyi Ching.

The singers became more distinctive style in the 1990’s ("Singers in the 90's started to develop their distictive styles") and they play (past tense) to (for) large audiences, and have (past tense) albums sales (sold) all over the Asia. (Wu Bai, May Day and FIR made rock music popular. Jay Chou, David Tao and Lee-hom Wang bring (brought) many different musical styles to Taiwan. They usually composed songs in written from themselves (???). Singers such as Jolin, A-mei and Yan-zi, they were not only idol singers, but also actually had strength and hold(delete) power. We also can (can also) see hip hop, rap singers like Machi and Mc hot dog (in which period of time?), they also became more popular with young person.)===>You should use some 連接詞 to make this part of discourse coherent.

***You have rich ideas for this writing. That's good. But some sentences are not complete; some have grammatical problems, and the most difficult part for the readers to read is the last part. Please reorganize it to make it better and more coherent.
