Assignment (4)The Effects of Invention or Innovation in Modern Life(2nd edition)

Along with the progress of the technology, our life has changed in many ways, for example, Internet, cellphone and nanotechnology. Not only do they offer us convenient (Noun) but also enhance quality of live (Noun) actually. However, many people get sick from (due to, because of) modern technology, for example, environment pollutions from new technology which destroys our health (delete). Therefore, they seem not always (do not always seem to be) positive effect (delete) to us. I will descript (spelling error) the different (delete) effects to us from (delete) of inventions or innovations on us in modern life as following (follows):

First of all, we are more efficient in our daily life due to...(please finish this sentence). For example, the invention of Internet changed our life deeply. We can study, do our job, chat and email by Internet, even we can shop on the Internet, we just need to choose what we like and key in the numbers of credit cards, and it can handle the deal automatically. Beside, we are convenient(grammar, please rewrite this part) by (because of) cellphones which be (複數) used popularly. We can communicate with others instantly by cellphone rather than looking for a telephone booth. There are so many advantages I can think of by using the cellphones.

Surely, there are some disadvantages of modern innovations, too. Owing to the convenience of technology, people do not contact each other in person so often as we used to be (delete), the relationships seems (原型動詞) not as close as we used to have. To tell the truth, some people do not even recognize their neighbors. Another problem is that the work opportunity is decreasing because of the machines (do you mean "machines replace human beings); we do not need so many workers nowadays. Besides, we could suffer a disease of (suffer from) the electric waves by telephone (do you mean "by frequently using the cellphones).

Furthermore, application of nanotechnology will have different effects to (on) us. It can be applied to everything, for example, clean of environment (? I do not understand this), national defense, and medicine. Actually, there are more and more household electrical appliances of nanotechnology which have different efficacy to disinfect (?). However, some products of nanotechnology can also destroy our body and environment, for example, makeup of nanotechnology may destroy our skin.

So, we can’t just enjoy the advantages of new technology, we still need to care for what the disadvantages are and how do cope with all the problems caused by them (good conclusion).
