Assignment 4(2nd)- The Effects of an Invention or Innovation in Modern Life

We are born in the modern time, live in the modern life and enjoy all convenient things of the modern technology. It seems like a matter of course. But we all forget a thing that all convenient things come from the efforts of every (delete) specialists. And the luckiest thing is that we can use all the things in (for) good health. In fact, our health is also (?) maintained by the medical science. And the antibiotics perform in the (play an) important role of (in) medical science. Alexander Fleming is (past tense) an England (adj.) scientist that is (who was) the first one to discover penicillin that is one kind of antibiotics. He discovered the penicillin in 1928. It is (past tense) an accident that Alexander Fleming forgot to clean the container that is (past tense) used by the culture of germs (I do not understand this part, 細菌的文化?). Then, he fount (found) out an element that will (past tense) restrain the growing of germs. That is (past tense) penicillin. At that time, it was used to reduce inflammation of patients on (in) the World War two because of its distinction(? I do not understand this). Until now, it is (has been) widely used to treat the diseases that are caused by germs, such as a cold. That is an important turning point on (in) the medical science and a necessary (?) for everybody. Beside penicillin, we can find easily out(easily find out) many things around us which are also inventions that we use in modern life. Those all came from the efforts of inventers. We need to hold a respect and thankful mind to use them(We shoud be respectful and thankful in using them).
