B9104030 (Assignment 4)

Assignment 4 The Effects of the Cellular Phones to Students ~ 1st draft

No one can deny that cellular phones have become a daily necessity to humankind. They have introduced us so much convenience and given us so many advantages. Even though most people have only been using them for less than 10 years, life without it would be unthinkable ("unimaginable" would sound more natural) . Despite of (delete) the fact, it still brought about for students like us some negative effects that we ought not to take them for granted.

One of the negative effects cell phones have brought is the expense of it, Maybe it is for conspicuous consumption, a lot of average Joes simply like to purchase the newest ones to show off. But honestly, it is pathetically ironic to see some juveniles boastfully holding up their 20-thousand-dollar-like very high-tech mobile phones, which combine numerous functions that neither do they actually need, nor do they know how to use.

Another bad influence from (of) the cell phones comes up with (from) the bills. Some people spend too much time on mobile phone talk. In that way their bills can be quite colossal. My younger brother, for instance, when he first time in love with a girl (felt in love with a girl the first time), he used mobile phone very often, only trying to enchant the girl he liked, This girl that (who) later became his girlfriend was incredible, so was the bill he received.

Aside from the aforementioned, cell phones could also be a distraction to us in class. Slinkingly playing fun games that are installed in the mobile phone is definitely a wrong way to ease boredom. Neither are checking your message box and answering the calls.
From these points of view, I think that mobile phones have become an addiction to some people and they are not even aware of it. It is high time for us to reconsider the position that cellular phones play in our daily lives. After all, we ought not to be bound by what we invented. Good conclusion!
