Assignment 4 2nd edition The Effects of an Invention or Innovation in Modern Life

In modern life, many inventors invent new products to make our life progressive. The inventions are surprising (surprises) to us and bring a lot of convenience for us. They are not only good for human's life but also can be made a patent to earn money or to protect the (a)company's rights. They also trig (? inappropriate) other inventors' different ideas to modify products and then (so) we have greater products to use. I think that the effects of an invention is (複數) very gigantic. The inventions make our life different from the past years. For example, computers make our life convenient. When the teachers give us assignments, we can search a lot of resources very quickly. And we can analyze the resources to support our assignments. We can spend less time to do our homework and then we have more time to join other activities, like doing exercise, reading or listening to music and so on. We won't do things which are repeated over again and again. Besides the inventions bring convenience (structure, please rewrite this part), inventors can make money with them. Inventors can apply patents to protect their inventions. And then their rights are protected and the invention can't be copied to be sell(過去分詞). So inventors don't worry about their inventions are useless. For instance, IBM (International Business Machines) invent (過去式) a lot of inventions and apply (過去式) patents to protect itself and make money with them. It's a different way we never think about to earn money. The effects of an invention bring a lot of shocking to (would shock) us. We have to learn many new things all the time because many new inventions are invented. If we don't follow the current or spirit (? I do not understand this part), we'll be lost in the future
